Delete Test Cycles
Note
To delete a test cycle, users are required to follow a two-step process: Archive the test cycle, and then delete it. Ensure that the test cycle is archived before proceeding with deletion. Refer to Archive Test Cycles for details on archiving test cycles.
You can delete individual test cycles one by one or multiple test cycles in bulk at once.
Note
Required Permission: Users with the Test Cycle Delete permission can delete the archived test cycles.
Perform the following steps to delete a test cycle:
Archive the Test Cycle: First, archive the test cycle before deleting it.
Delete the Test Cycle: Delete the test cycle permanently.
You can delete individual test cycles one by one or multiple test cycles in bulk at once.
Warning
Test Cycles will be permanently deleted from the project. This action is irreversible.
Delete a Test Cycle
Perform the following steps to delete a single archived test cycle:
On the folder tree, click the More icon and select the Show Archived Test Cycles option.

The archived test cycles are displayed on the screen.
Delete the archived test cycle from the List View or the detail page.
Delete a Test Cycle from List View: Hover over the archived test cycle that you want to delete and click the Delete icon for the test cycle.
Delete a Test Cycle from Detail Page
Navigate to the archived test cycle page and click the Delete button.
The confirmation message appears.
Click Delete to proceed.
Delete Test Cycles in Bulk
You can delete multiple test cycles at a time through the Bulk Delete functionality.
Note
A maximum of 20 test cycles can be deleted at a time.
Perform the following steps to delete test cycles in bulk:
On the folder tree, click the More icon and select the Show Archived Test Cycles option.
Select archived test cycles that you want to delete.
Selection of Multiple entities at a time: To select entities within a range on the current page, select the first entity’s check box, and then select the last entity’s check box, and simultaneously hold the SHIFT key of the keyboard. All the entities between these two entities will get auto-selected.
Select All:
Select all records on the current page: Clicking on the check box in the column header selects all the records on the current page only.
An alternate way is to open the check box drop-down and select the Current Page option.
Select all records across all pages: Open the check box drop-down and select the Across All Pages option.
Once you select the test cycles that you want to delete, the options for bulk operation become visible on the screen.
Click Delete.

The confirmation message appears.
Click Delete to proceed with the deletion of selected test cycles.

You can check the status of the operation under the Notification section.

Audit Logs
Perform the following steps to view the audit logs of deleted test cycles:
Go to Configuration.
Select Audit Log, and then select Test Entity Logs.
Select "Test Cycle" on the Test Entities drop-down list and select "Delete" on the Action list.
